Thanks to 3-axis mobility, free-form tunnelling is no problem for roadheaders when driving underground, even in the smallest of spaces. It is also interesting that the waste from the huge red drill head is simply guided to the rear under the crawler track. In the front of the picture is the driver's cab of a multifunctional machine with interchangeable tools. Both machines have an S7 panel HMI from INSEVIS that is only 26 mm deep.
