S7 PLCs from INSEVIS qualified as alternative

When the semiconductor crisis in 2022 forced large corporations to gradually postpone their customers' delivery dates until doomsday, many users suddenly realized the risks they had exposed themselves to due to a lack of replacement suppliers. They could wait and hope that everything would be fine. Or they could act, like the company http://www.bueter.de/ in Meppen. They looked for and found an alternative supplier to the existing Siemens control technology in INSEVIS. INSEVIS quickly found a deliverable S7 controller with the necessary interfaces and the appropriate I/Os, which allowed them to stick with their TIA programming tool from Siemens. The minor adjustments did not pose a problem for the S7 programmers and within a few weeks the first INSEVIS controllers had arrived.
